Peeps are the quintessential candy of Easter. But what about the 364 days a year that aren't Easter? Tired of hibernating for the bulk of the calendar, the brand hatched a new product with a permanent place on the candy shelf: Peeps Minis. But how do you take a holiday candy and make it relevant year round? Well, you could point out that "Every Day Is a Holiday."
We didn't make these crazy days up. These are legit holidays. And we helped Peeps Minis celebrate each and every one of them with 365 Peeps-inspired posts for Twitter and Facebook, each one touting that day's unique and memorable holiday.
Our social engagement rate was nearly four times the average for first-time advertisers, which gave the brand plenty of reason to celebrate. Not that they needed an excuse when they had Pink Flamingo Day and Hot Air Balloon Day and Aviation Day and Neon Sign Day and Haiku Poetry Day...
For this project I created over 365 illustration; one for every day of the year -- and then some! It received praise from the New York Times, Mashable, and The Clios.
