In a bid to win the Caterpillar site redesign we produced several concepts to present to the client. Using a combination of lifestyle and and product shots against a dramatic color palette we showcased a concept themed Authentic and Strong. We wanted to relate to the user base by featuring the people that use and maintain the machinery everyday , capturing them in dramatic black and white photography. With a dark dramatic home page we moved to white on the interior pages to better feature the product lines. This concept resonated well with the client and was the direction chosen the site redesign.
