When ICMEC came to us to redesign their website, it hadn't been touched since the first design in mid-90's. As you can imagine, over the years content had been added ad-hoc to the site, disrupting the structure, and making it nearly impossible to navigate. The voice and tone of the content was inconsistent and lacked a coherent message that articulated the organization’s mission.
The redesign started with an audit of the website to evaluate the quality of the content as well as the organization. Then after a set of user interviews, I developed a robust site map, and reorganized and rewrote the site content to better match audience needs and better match the organization’s mission.
