Mountain Dew has the most hardcore fans out there. And when
they release new flavors folks latch on and build a devotion to them.
Mountain Dew tapped into Vayner Media to deliver an engaging, buzz-worthy consumer engagement program that generates awareness for the re-release of two legendary flavors, Mtn Dew Pitch Black and Mtn Dew Baja Blast, and drives trial all summer long.
We created a 12-week social program that drove engagement, hype
and IRL voting by ways of challenges set up for Mountain Dew’s most allegiant fans. Because not only did we want fans to try both flavors,
we wanted to make their votes known -- we wanted them to have the power to choose which flavor got to stay permanently on shelves.
