Starbucks Reserve Roastery

Starbucks currently has over 21,000 stores worldwide. Because this is a crazy amount of locations, people think that Starbucks creates "dumbed-down" coffees. However, that just isn't the case...and to prove it, Starbucks created Starbucks Reserve, a brand of exotic small-lot coffees, and opened the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room in Seattle. For our part, we created a mobile tour, triggered by iBeacon notifications in key areas, that explains the meticulous process behind Starbucks Reserve coffee. This technology, integrated into the store’s design, captivates visitors and creates a fully-rounded experience, so they get a great cup of coffee and the compelling story behind it all at once.
