Silence Broken

In spring of 2013, I was commissioned to a design a poster for a screening event of the film "Silence Broken: Korean Comfort Women". The event took place at RISD and the filmmaker, Dai Sil Kim-Gibson, was present to introduce her film and engage in a discussion with the audience. Silence Broken is an oral history of Korean women who were forced into sexual slavery by Japan during World War II.
