Young&Well - @ppreciate

We got approached by an Australian Government organisation, Young and Well, that researches how technology can be used to improve the mental health and well being of young people aged 13-17.

In an initaive against cyberbullying they wanted us to help kids spread a bit of love on social media.
We came up with @ppreciate a little mobile app that fights cyber bullies with love.

Kids can choose between 45 messages of appreciation and customise them to share online. We got 25 designers from LA, Sydney, London, Paris, New York and Miami to help with the designs and we workshopped the quotes and the app UX with about 80 kids from different local Australian schools.

Results: over 22.000 quotes created + 22 million social media reach + 200 media stories (swiss miss, etc.)
