I had a great opportunity to work with a flight "meta-search" startup who's main mission was to provide the best and cheapest flights available for the next two months, i.e. not for travelers who have specific dates in mind. The vision was targeting a very specific demographic: Millennials and students who typically have a lot of flexibility when in comes to travel. After gathering requirements, user research, wireframing, mockups, competitive analysis and brainstorming with product management I designed a series of screens for multiple devices (desktop, tablet, smartphone) each representing a stage in the user’s journey from searching to booking a flight. The focus was on ease-of-use.
