Pangea

This is a personal project where I imagine a little known land bridge between Africa and Bainbridge Island in Washington state. I took images form a project in Tanzania and created new images with settings I photographed on Bainbridge Island. Matching lighting situations and combining images in believable took a deep understanding of light and utilized knowledge from my painting days.
