MTV VMAs

For 2014's VMAs MTV decided to go glitch with a frenetic gif style vernacular for its promotional material. I edited several promos that included custom data moshed footage. I wrote a script to expedite this process using ffmpeg and Joe Friedl perl datamosh script. This allowed us to rapidly test different scenarios to achieve desired results. This was an incredibly fun project in which if we could imagine it, it would probably work on air. I made a few animated gifs for MTV's social feed.
