Former Red Hot Chili Pepper, John Frusciante launched his latest LP, Enclosure, into space in an experimental cube satellite called Sat-Jf14. Fans could get the mobile app SAT-JF14 to track it in real time as it orbits the Earth.
When the satellite hovered their location, they could unlock the album and listen to it for free before the official launch in stores on April 8th.
The app also had a chat service that allowed fans to share their opinion and comment the album with each other.
