Sound Advice is a small consultancy, with a powerful network of global collaborators, specializing in the design and development of award-winning and hugely successful consumer and professional electronics, especially in the audio space. Founded by the industry veteran, Todd Metlen, the team has created beloved products for brands such as Blue Microphones, Nokia, and BMW.
They recently moved into a massive new industrial space in Ventura, California equipped with some of the best manufacturing gear money can buy, cabinets full of electronics parts and testing equipment, decades worth of high-end consumer products prototypes, and a huge aquarium populated by exotic turtles.
Noah, the director of business development, reached out to me because they needed a website that would reflect their new space and this new horizon for the business. They wanted a site that captured the grandeur of the new space as well as the glamor of the products they've developed over the years. It needed to convey the sense of exquisite craftsmanship, impeccable design and innovation that the company is known for.
What we needed to do, essentially, was create a website that would not only draw the right kind of new customers to the company, but also feedback into the company's own sense of itself as a team of expert designers and craftspeople.
