This beer was hitting the shelves in Canada for the first time and wanted to show Canadians why it had been one of America’s favourite beers for decades. Simple: it’s beer and it’s good. Rolling Rock doesn’t need a can to read the barometric pressure, or a commercial showcasing scantily clad models caddying golf tournaments. It’s simply good and needed to be shown as good, simply. I created original illustrations and a typeface to communicate this idea.
