I designed a website for Rael, a feminine hygiene, skin, and menstrual care brand aiming to create clean, environment-friendly, natural, and affordable products for women. I started this website design with the intention of creating a user-friendly design that complemented the package. The Rael brand's design strategy is clean, organized, and easy to understand. So, that's why I have chosen to keep things simple and clean. The user can explore the three products through my design, emphasizing the best-selling product, the heating patch for menstrual cramps. Customers can explore the three products and see how people like them. Then, finally, make a purchase.
Creating inclusive characters for the brand was important because the brand focuses on the needs of women of all ages and types. I chose colors that complemented the packaging. I decided to make the women's skin colors red and maroon because these colors are what a woman sees when she has her period. This design decision allowed them to become more inclusive characters for the brand. The overall color scheme of the website outside of the illustrations was also chosen to complement the already existing package design.
