Open to Debate (Webby and Fast Company Innovation honoree)

We can take other agency’s work and refine it, evolve it, extend it across multiple channels.

THE COMPANY
A non-partisan, non-profit organization that hosts a myriad of debates on controversial topics.
Our relationship with Open to Debate spans a decade. During that time, we created two evolutions of their initial brand identity, and through the years have designed email blasts, infographics, and illustrations.

THE ASSIGNMENT
A full rebranding initiative:
Updated the logo created by their brand agency to work within the interactive and digital space.
Created the infrastructure of their new website and skinned it with a new design that is more indicative of their strategy to become a news organization.
Developed a new style of imagery that showcases the company’s objective to give fair voice to both points of view in a debate.
Created their brand guidelines, which included the architecture for sales materials, merch, presentations, and infographics. This guide is used by the client’s vendors in PR, events, and social media outreach. We are currently working on their ad campaign that will be featured in the Atlantic.
