Our team worked closely with the in-house Amazon Creative Team to create an industry-first, voice-controlled Connected TV experience that emulates the functionality of the Amazon Echo within our ad unit.
Using voice-activated prompts, the user can speak various phrases such as "Alexa, ask the Roomba to start cleaning" into their CTV remote microphone. Each phrase triggers a video that highlights a different functionality of the Amazon Echo before providing a link to purchase. The Amazon team shot original footage for this experience, allowing us to create two units—one of a living room, and one in a kitchen.
This campaign saw a 135% lift in purchase consideration for Amazon Echo, and a 4% click-through rate. It also won two OMMA Awards, one IAC Award, and was a Digiday finalist and a two-time Festival of Media Finalist.
