New York Road Runners: It Will Move You

On the first Sunday in November, 50,000 TCS New York City Marathon runners set off from Staten Island and run 26.2 miles through all five boroughs, crossing the finish line in New York’s iconic Central Park. While fans and spectators come out in deafening force on the pavement, TV tune-in across the country had been trending downward.

Enter “It Will Move You,” a campaign that managed to capture the breadth and complexity of emotions experienced by runners and viewers alike, and successfully increased network viewers and digital engagement year-over-year. From its second year running to its fourth, we worked to shape creative for a 360º campaign that extended the life of It Will Move You after its successful launch year.

(I also got to run it in 2022, which was awesome.)
