The project involve the development of a user-friendly and intuitive AR interface that provides real-time information and enhances the driver's situational awareness. The interface is projected onto the windshield and integrated into the vehicle's heads-up display [HUD], enabling drivers to access vital information without diverting their attention from the road.
In addition to the AR interface, the project also involve conducting motion studies to optimise the user experience and ensure the interface's usability and ergonomics. These studies focus on understanding how drivers interact with the AR elements, the effectiveness of different gestures or voice commands, and the impact of the interface on driving performance.
