Gemma and The Mermaids Call

This is a children's book I created for the wonderful and sadly late Laura Vondracek. For this project I was the artist and layout designer and had to conceptualise Laura's vision. The story follow a mermaid Gemma as she calls together all the creatures of the sea to help clean up the trash that is blocking light from their world.

This project was a wonderful collaboration and involved a lot of conceptualisation, development and communication to make it perfect. I am very proud of the result.
