Finding Pandora X

Finding Pandora X is an immersive theatrical VR experience where the audience plays the role of the Greek Chorus, interacting with live Broadway caliber actors as the play unfolds. It had its world premier at the 2020 Venice International Film Festival where it won a Lion for Best VR Immersive User Experience, before going on to win The Virtual Cinema Audience Award in 2021. In addition to writing the script, I provided narrative direction for the entire experience, with a focus on the user journey as audiences navigated the story: "With the passing of ages, the Gods of Mount Olympus have faded away until only two remain - Zeus and Hera. Now they are in danger of disappearing if they can’t recover the box of hope that Pandora removed." Audience members stepped into their role as Greek Chorus members in an immersive storyworld hosted on VRChat. Performed live by Broadway actors, the experience included two of my favorite things to explore: social connection and branching narratives.
