When I joined the team as Executive Creative Director in 2020, my first objective was to create foundations and processes to build upon, both for the brand and for the team behind it. While creating processes for everything from performance reviews, to project management, to team communication, I built DesignOps from the ground up. In parallel, I gradually elevated our visual design guidelines, brand photography, in-store design, and e-commerce site. Every customer touchpoint, made more strategic, scalable, and elevated.
Public Rec had significant profitable growth YoY, scaling the team by 2.7x, and attracting its first institutional investor in 2023.
