Garbage Time

Welcome to “Garbage Time”, a dynasty fantasy football league composed solely of the truest fantasy football addicts, waiver wire sweats, and league tacos. Here, every detail of the great old American pastime is taken into account – from including individual defensive players, to equalizing the grit and pain running backs endure, Garbage Time is a fantasy experience like none other.

A main goal of this project was to bring the purely digital and modern concept of fantasy football and reimagine it through a physical and vintage lens.

As a result, GT’s branding centers heavily upon the visual identity of sports trading cards and waste management companies of the 1960s. Elements such as the script type in the logo, usage of Franklin Gothic, and vibrant colors all work together to create the throwback vibe GT emanates.
