The Guild — Canabis Branding

The company needed a look that embodied the “legacy” brand vibe that the ownership held in the community. We worked to find the right aesthetic to support this with a balanced contrast between an ornate vintage cigar box and the products of a fashionable luxury goods makers.

Our goal was to implicitly communicate —through the visuals of the brand to the unassuming consumer—the quality and care that is inherent in all of their products. Given the highly regulated nature of the cannabis industry, the identity system also needed to be modular to handle a variety of implementations depending on the product and the geographical market.
