Credit Union Onboarding and Sign up

The challenge here was working with a customer base that is not all that tech savvy and demographically older in age range and to keep in mind that using design patterns that were compliant, accessible, and clear was key. Although the changes were subtle I did get a chance to re-imagine the onboarding process through a new design and prototype that I was able to share that the cross-functional team got to look at and extract pieces from that would work immediately and create a backlog of features that we could implement later. This is a good example that when there are very tight constraints you can still use your design skills and imagination to create something that still works and be humble enough to maybe only apply about 20% of it, understanding that the small changes that are able to be implemented create huge impact in the end for the customer and the company itself.
