Visual language/direction for Anthony Edwards’ first signature shoe by adidas Basketball, the AE 1.
Working with the Johannes Leonardo crew and director Onda, we created a visual system heavily influenced by his ATL roots—the prominent peach, the grit and modest bravado—coupled with moments focused on his unreal athleticism.
By using a triptych layout as a foundation for both imagery and type, we were able to highlight movement throughout each specific composition/application.
