“Covid blows. Let’s go to Denny’s!” - no one
Chances are you’ve been to a Denny’s. Probably at 3am. Probably after a drink or twelve. I’m talking sticky booths, a magically-diverse crowd and ample butter pats. Yes, going to Denny’s is an experience. But they lacked one critical thing when the world shut down: a drive-thru. (Scrambled eggs really don’t travel well.) So when your boss shoots you a Zoom and says, “Hey, Denny’s is in trouble. Wanna help keep ‘em in business?” you can’t help but say, “Pass dat syrup, please.”
