Café Zupas Murals

I've had the opportunity to do many of these restaurants as they open throughout various states. They've all presented their own difficulties and challenges to overcome. The majority of these projects for this company have taken place while active construction is going on. Working with project managers, job site superintendents, other subcontractors, etc to coordinate getting walls prepped, cleared, and ready to paint.

Most of the buildings have roughly a 45' x 14' wall along the drive-thru lane that has a standard artwork that I hand-paint. Sometimes on stucco and sometimes on brick. Both present their own pros and cons. All of the buildings have a 10' x 10' wall section on the front that have a hand-painted mural as well, each with unique artwork that ties in to the local community. These front murals also have faux neon sign (LED) placed on the wall over the artwork and location indicator to the city or town where the restaurant is found.

In addition to the murals I paint, on each of the restaurants is an 8' x 8' sign that I hand-paint on brick with the company's slogan 'Nourish the Good Life' at about 25' off the ground.

These projects have really helped me become more efficient and productive in the time it takes to complete them and the variables that each posses especially when needing to travel by plane to get them done.
