I was hired by the leadership team at City Without Orphans to bring strategy and direction to a brand that desperately needed both. They had many active initiatives but needed help aligning those initiatives under a common goal. The sad truth is that the needs in the foster care community are many and the people willing to help are few. They needed help clarifying what their purpose was so people in the community would be moved to action. I facilitated multiple workshops and strategic sessions with the leadership team and subsequently created their brand messaging, a brand book, and their tagline: "Surrounding every vulnerable child with family." I also provided ongoing consultation on applicant interviewing, team training, culture building and leadership identification/development. Since that time, City Without Orphans has been able to increasingly scale their vision while consistently meeting or exceeding goals in volunteer recruitment and fundraising.
