RBW Transactional Email Revamp

In 2022, Rich Brilliant Willing (RBW), a Soho lighting company, approached me to help them come up with new illustrations to accompany their transactional update emails. These update emails are sent to customers, to indicate what phase of the transaction their order is currently in (5 phases include: Initial Quote, Order Placed, Payment Processed, Item Assembly, Order Shipped). RBW requested that the illustrations remain extremely minimalist, with an authentic hand-drawn quality. They wanted an endearing and playful character enacting each phase. Sparing spots of color were utilized to mimic the quality of slightly off-register screen-printing, helping to ground the illustrations. Each particular color was assigned to be associated with a particular transactional phase.
