The ownership group at Green State Coffee came to me with the need for almost everything. Although property and capital were secured, they had made little headway in every other area. Knowing that market conditions provided an opportune entry-point for a new drive-thru coffee brand - they wanted to take advantage of the moment and enter the category differently. I facilitated multiple workshops and strategic sessions with the leadership team at Green State and subsequently created their brand messaging, a brand book, and their tagline: "Conscious coffee." I also provided ongoing consultation on applicant interviewing, team training, culture building and leadership identification/development. Since that time, Green State built a thriving, healthy and passionate business that cultivated a strong and local customer following in the Yakima Valley Region. This reputation got noticed, and the ownership group of a competing drive-thru coffee brand made them a buyout offer they couldn't refuse.
