Arts in the Armed Forces Military Information Deck

A presentation deck for a military and arts nonprofit called Arts in the Armed Forces. This deck was to be distributed to leadership at military institutions across the world so that active duty military personnel could have access to culture outlets in theater and film.

I served as the veteran intern for Summer 2021 having recently graduated from Parsons with a degree in communication design. As is custom for nonprofits, everyone does a little bit of everything but my skills were particularly favorable for this project. Since the only other presentation was created on Canva, I created a straight forward grid design that was easy to follow and edit as copy would be updated annually or semi-annually. The other reason for the more strict grid approach was that it was being consumed by military brass. They are used to naval correspondence, a very rigid communication structure with specific rules for uniform transmissions.

One particular request for this deck was an updated infographic showing all the different military bases the organization had brought theater performances. The 14th spread shows the graphic that I created based off the direction from the executive director.
