Handwriting is a lightweight neuromuscular reflex operation conducted on a variety of characterizing
and writing items. The handwriting of the average person consists of various individualizing features
and various grades. Natural variations are exhibited by every individual which depends on the use of
different types of writing instruments and also affected by emotions, speed and age. The present study
aimed to investigates the similarities between original and disguised samples of a same individual.
Total 36 samples were collected from 12 individuals including disguised writings. A general
comparison is done among each of these samples to find the similarities. Our results found the
similarities in the handwriting and successfully identified that disguised samples belonged to the same
author based on the individual characteristics. The present study demonstrates that there are certain
defining characteristics that help in distinguishing every other handwriting from the one under
consideration.
