The Radio Play of Invincible Ones

"Invincible Ones" is originally a stage play. But, with theatres shuttered during the pandemic, I was approached by NYC-based New Light Theatre Project to update the existing script into one that worked as an audio drama. Rehearsed and recorded over Zoom in October 2020, this is the podcast version of the play released in 2021. And there are now two versions: a stage version and a radio play version.

Synopsis of play:
Reeling from their best friend's death, a group of women face what their lives look like in the aftermath. In the wake of loss, they each attempt to answer seemingly unanswerable questions: Who will give the eulogy? Will they ever be able to live alone? Why did that girl’s brother show up? Drawing on roller derby culture, Invincible Ones explores the way we handle grief, guilt, and a constant drip from the heavens (apartment) above. Please be advised that Invincible Ones contains content on depression and suicide.
Invincible Ones has had the following accolades: Semi-Finalist for O'Neill Playwrights Conference, Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in 2017, Semi-Finalist for Bay Area Playwrights Festival, Playwrights Foundation in 2017, Semi-Finalist for Princess Grace, Princess Grace Foundation in 2016
