Pando Populus was a non-profit, bringing together voices from different fields to help realize a more sustainable relationship with the environment. They were focused on big and bold ideas, and motivated by the interconnectedness of things. Understanding the importance of cross-collaboration, I created a brand identity rooted in this interconnectedness. The brand identity is an abstraction of an aspen grove (the pando colony), one of the oldest living organisms and a point of inspiration to the founders of the organization. The five abstracted trees symbolize different thoughts, coming together. The logo can be used as a framing device, shifting focus to different schools of thoughts. Below, you’ll find brand applications, conference promotions, and products.
