Lyft Collections

Lyft Home is the single source of truth for all information related to work. It’s where team members can find the latest company announcements, engineering documentation, or look up the profile of an unfamiliar team member who’s at the next meeting.

Based off internal user research, the Lyft Home team discovered a pain point where project knowledge disappeared when an employee switched teams or left the company. Collections was a product that would create a central repository for project information and documentation for the entire organization. 

Additionally, Collections was intended to be foundational cornerstone of a grander product roadmap that would create a system for Lyft executives to determine which projects to proceed with and which to sideline.
