For this project, I took a 2D background design from Disney's 1951 Alice in Wonderland and turned it into a stylized 3D model. The challenge of this model lies in the perspective distortion, as I was making sure to translate the wackiness of 2D design into the shape of the 3D model. To do this, the floor is slanted downward, and the models are built off that slant. The chair has different heights of legs, the ceiling beams are slanted upwards and curved, and the bunny clock has a trapezoidal base rather than a rectangle (the right side is wider than the left). For the texturing, I stuck to simply painting textures directly onto the UV map. I then layered a 2D animation resembling the Cheshire Cat over the 3D render.
