Jazz na starówce is one of the biggest jazz festivals in Poland, that takes place in the Old Town Square in Warsaw every summer since 1994.
It stands out as a festival with a great variety of jazz music styles, jazz discoveries, unique projects, taking into account the most valuable sensations and trends in Polish and international music. The Jazz in the Old Town Festival is the only festival of this type in Poland with an international reach, addressed to a wide audience and is completely free.
Identity system is inspired by jazz music and its main characteristics such as: uniqueness
authenticity
improvisation
diversity
paterns
freedom
As the festival is addressed to a wide audience, its color scheme represents different preferences and styles in jazz music from swing and smooth jazz to jazz fusion and avant-garde.
Each edition has its own main graphic element that is manually created typography with the name of the festival. It highlights the freedom and improvisation that defines jazz music.
System and repetitive elements such as grid, logo, and colors are what make identity recognizable despite its at first glance chaotic components.
