Subway: Rebranded Packaging

Subway for McGarryBowen.

Subway, whose flagship element is the iconic sandwich wrap, sought concepts for package redesign. Addressing challenges in overprinting and ink-trapping, cost, and color limitations, I devised a solution that marries client’s goals of conveying freshness, with the energy of the sandwich-building process and unique ingredient offerings. These concept iterations significantly influenced the final rollout design in 2022.
