Social Ads

This was a series of social media ads for Lendly. There were several different designs based on different themes, such as: Back To School, Holidays, and Evergreen.

2d animations were done by me based on designs from Sarah Rineer and Jake Willis at Summer Friday.

The animation style was based on previous spots, but there was the flexibility to expand upon the style. Using a combination of hand-drawn and tweened animations in both Adobe Animate and After Effects, I was able to create fast-moving and engaging visuals based on great designs from the design team.

One of the biggest challenges was when the client requested a change of angle to a coffee cup which required the cup to fully turn in space from a side view to a top view and then spin around. Using the tools iin Adobe Animate, I was able to create a nice faux 3d rotation.
