Coffee and Catch up Logo

For this project I was tasked with designing a logo for a meetup group here in SF that meets every month talk about acting and other topics related to entertainment. They wanted a logo that symbolized two people conversing with each other while drinking / having coffee. I utilized half circle and filled in circles to symbolize both the people and the coffee cups. While utilizing the negative space where the handles are to communicate talking with the speech bubble and a coffee drop for the coffee.
