Designed to accompany the exhibition that draws from the Ancient Greek myth of Narcissus and Echo’s love and comments on themes of reflection, echo and alienation, the silhouette of a daffodil is carved out from a reflective surface on the cover of this book. Within the book, texts from the curator Selen Ansen, Cana Bostan and Fatih Özgüven are presented alongside poems selected by the editors of the book, a total of 120 artworks from 44 artists, as well as photographs from the exhibition, scans of ephemeral objects such as an handwritten note from Oscar Wilde and Emily Dickinson which inspires the title.
