Summer Productions Logo Conceptualization

Upon finishing high school, I was given the opportunity to intern at an established editing company in my hometown called Summer Productions. Most of my work pertained to assisting with photo editing, much of it used for medical purposes, and the additional video editing, making slight edits in Adobe Premiere to small projects. Upon completing those tasks, my boss informed me that he was looking to create a subsidiary of Summer Productions, called Spring Productions, and wanted my assistance in the creation of a logo for the company. I happily accepted the responsibility and used my knowledge of logos, designs, and typography to begin brainstorming ideas for possible logos. At first, I found the simplicity of the task to be difficult, feeling like my creative ideas would not be able to surface, as well as the added anxiety of working solely on this project myself for approval. But as I continued on the project, I looked at both of these problems as, instead, conditions and limitations that would serve to push my ability and test me in a new way. I believe with my work I was able to capture the look needed for the company as well as get approval on two of my designs which were used to facilitate and create the finished logo for the company.
