Satfits Design Work

Serving as Lead Designer since the inception of the brand, I found working alongside other artists and members of the team, to create designs, to be seamless and highly rewarding, with someone of my proudest work coming out of collaboration and social input from colleagues and friends. I enjoyed my role as a designer and, as a leader, working to recruit and work alongside artistically minded people and friends that could help create our brand to be the most inclusive and artistic it could be. My hardships arose in finding ways to work with the medium of embroidery and with classic screen printing, two processes that I knew very little about and knew next to nothing about how to best utilize them to showcase our brand's image. Through looking to my contemporaries for inspiration and advice, and through trial and error, I was able to express my brand's messages and themes through the medium in a way I think showcases the strength of the group and, in a way, I felt proud of. I worked alongside my team and created designs, logos, and a mascot that we used for shirts, hats, pants, and even stickers.
