Product Context
Rollout’s SDK enables mobile developers to instantly push code-level changes to live apps without needing to release a new version through the app store or wait for end-users to update their app which shortened the entire development cycle.

The Challenge
We needed to validate the needs and experience around deploying hot patches to production apps, primarily via user interviews and prototypes.

The Solution
The result was a three-month PoC that proved the need for hot-patching, but with more emphasis on newly discovered personas (developer, CTO, and marketers) which required the product to be flexible between technical and nontechnical users.
