Mizuho was looking to create a name and brand identity for their operations center. AXON 1 was one they chose out of three proposals:
The human nervous system coordinates action by sending signals to and from different parts of the body. In this vitally important system, the axon is the primary transmission line.
As axons transmit information to neurons and muscles, Axon 1 distributes information and technology solutions throughout Mizuho with a network that supports and enables all of Mizuho’s people.
Like the human nervous system, Axon 1 is reactive, taking information from all parts of the company and translating it into services and actions that address the needs of Mizuho’s people.
One by one, these needs will be met, through shared services and infrastruture that unburden Mizuho’s people, and free them up to focus on work that really matters.
One Mizuho. That’s
1 company comprised of
1 workforce enabled by
1 technology center.
And that center is Axon 1.
