A small Brooklyn bakery called Love, Nelly started instituting tipping in summer of 2022. They reached out to me to help with messaging in a newsletter to their email list and copy for a social post explaining the change to their customers. My focus was to be as transparent as possible and keep a warm, upbeat tone.
