Malapit Kane Wedding
THE PROJECT | I had the honor of creating the signage for my close friends’ beautiful wedding in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
THE PROCESS | Keeping close to the stunning natural settings (and honestly just trying to stay out of the way of the gorgeous views) my type choices were unique yet understated, to direct the guests when needed but not to distract. The illustrations are of the Tī Leaf in a lei form, nodding to the Hawaiian tradition of gifting leis for celebrations. Maile ti leaf leis symbolize appreciation, admiration, and respect.
