I was brought in to takeover [and "save"/ensure success of] this project at the mid-design development phase. I worked with our internal team of 2-3 architects/interior designers to design the front and back of house spaces of this luxury condo sales gallery for The Related Companies' 15 and 30 Hudson Yards high-rises. We worked with custom fabrication studio New Project to design and fabricate all of the bespoke tables/kiosks/rollable screens that housed the technology, including three large pieces that needed to retrofit highly fragile architectural models being moved from the prior sales gallery. We also worked with a custom fabricator to develop the see-through LED storefront. On our internal team we also had a creative technologist/developer who helped to design all software needed for content playback on the LED screens, kiosks, and floor projection. This project was on an extremely aggressive timeline (~8 weeks) and needed to be completed before the mall's grand opening. I liaised on behalf of our team's subcontractors with the construction management and building operations team (the mall and surrounding buildings were still being built while we were completing this project) to secure (highly sought-after) loading dock access for all deliveries of fabricated elements, architectural models, custom lighting, and technology components. I also produced a marketing film to promote this work for LAB's website and social outlets.
