"Bike Church"

The making of this short film, which premiere on NOWNESS, was an emotional endeavor, not only for the subject opening up about his life (Gabriel Frilando aka @cheatdeathnyc) but for the core crew filming and crafting his story. Initially created in memory of friend and Director Jonathan Chapman who died by suicide, this film became so much more; an opportunity to process loss, find joy, choose empathy and celebrate life.
