Backctry.

What started as a student project, soon turned into a passion project. Backctry. is a outdoor action sports publication with a focus on stories that take you “out there”.My urge to revisit this project came from the belief that passion projects are a great opportunity to learn new skills and sharpen existing ones.

From a love of outdoor sports, typography and layouts, Backctry. has been revisited years later to build a magazine that is rich in stories and intriguing spreads. The mockups below are from what would be a special annual issue of the publication. One that is built with a hardcover and a higher page count.
